My artwork is to challenge the heteronormative attitude that challenges self expression. This attitude oppresses, and stigmatize different forms of sexuality and gender and assumes sexual and martial relations are best suited and preferred between opposite sex. While I have worked with different concepts like word maps and mixed media. I use collage that give a sense of familiarity through the images. Furthermore, I feel using collage can be arranged in a variety of ways, that cover a wide range of issues. My artwork will associate scenarios that are dominantly represented with heteronormative attitude and replacing it with a LGBTQ perspective and sarcasm. In creating this work, I want to show the audience a different perspective of "normal".
